What you will be doing 

• Work with the Design Team & CTO to create new products and services.  


• Support product development by creating backend code and scripts to work with frontend development.  


• Develop, Deploy and Test backend code & endpoints 


• Configuration of software architecture and databases (Python – Django & Firebase Firestore / PostgreSQL)  


• Perform other hands-on research and development activities as required  


• Develop and deliver processes and procedures based on software development best practices  


• Working closely with other team members to produce project deliverables on time  


• Reporting on project progress to the team as required  


• Ability to work remotely while remaining focused & engaged  

Requirements 

• BSc or M.Sc. in Computer Science or closely related discipline  


• 4+ years of professional experience developing API’s / Backend development 


• Excellent software development skills, with expertise in Python 


• Experience with web frameworks such as NodeJS, Django  


• Experience in development in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or GCP  


• Experience with GIT & Agile Practices  


• Experience working with databases and data 


• Experience integrating with other API’s (desirable)
