| Job Description: |
- Assist in overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, network devices, and computer systems.
- Monitor and manage server backups, disaster recovery plans, and data protection protocols.
- Supervise and provide second-level technical support to IT staff and end-users.
- Troubleshoot system errors, application bugs, network outages, and hardware failures.
- Ensure system security and user access management in compliance with institutional policies.
- Lead and guide IT support staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
- Conduct periodic training sessions for staff and faculty on new tools or policies.
- Maintain documentation of IT procedures, asset inventory, and support logs.
- Assist in planning and implementing IT projects such as campus automation, smart classrooms, and digital transformation.
- Ensure timely execution of IT tasks during admissions, exams, and major university events.
- Contribute to IT strategy development and infrastructure upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards, data privacy laws, and internal IT policies.
