| Job Description: |
We\'re looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive who understands the nuances of online bidding and proposal management across platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Bark, and more.
Key Responsibilities
Online Bidding & Lead Generation
- Identify potential projects and clients on Upwork, Freelancer, Bark, and other relevant platforms
- Submit compelling proposals tailored to specific client needs.
- Track bid responses and follow up to improve conversion rate.
- Prepare a daily status report and send to the management
Proposal & Document Preparation
- Write and tailor cover letters based on bids, company profiles for bids, and bid responses.
- Collaborate with technical teams to prepare detailed project documentation, including Scope of Work (SOW), timelines, milestones, etc.
- Maintain and update bid templates and technical collateral.
Client Communication
- Initiate and manage communication with potential clients.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into clear deliverables.
- Negotiate terms, timelines, and pricing to close deals.
Sales Strategy & Reporting
- Develop strategies to increase bid success rate and overall lead conversion.
- Maintain CRM or lead tracking systems.
- Provide regular updates on progress, wins, and areas for improvement.
Key Skills Required
- Proven experience with bidding on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Bark, PeoplePerHour, and Guru
- Strong command of written English for crafting persuasive proposals and client communication.
- Ability to create technical documents with clarity and precision.
- Understanding of services that company provides
- Sales-driven mindset with a focus on targets and KPIs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and analytical skills.
