• Operate and monitor high-pressure boilers and auxiliary equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of boilers and steam systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain boiler logs, records, and reports as per statutory and company standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair boiler equipment as needed.
• Supervise and guide junior boiler operators or technicians.
• Manage steam distribution and maintain system parameters within specified limits.
• Coordinate with other departments for uninterrupted utility services.
• Prepare for and support internal/external boiler inspections and audits.
• Ensure safe start-up, operation, and shutdown procedures are followed.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid 1st Class Boiler Competency Certificate issued by the appropriate Boiler Directorate.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience operating high-pressure boilers in an industrial or process plant.
• Strong understanding of steam systems, water treatment, and boiler safety standards.
• Knowledge of DCS/PLC control systems related to boiler operation (preferred).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Familiarity with energy conservation practices and boiler efficiency improvement
