| Job Description: |
To manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain daily records of all financial transactions (cash, bank, and journal entries). Prepare and reconcile bank statements on a monthly basis. Manage petty cash and ensure all payments are properly supported with documentation. Record and verify all invoices, vouchers, and receipts. Prepare monthly financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and expense summaries. Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring expenditures. Support audits by providing required financial data and documents. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information. Ensure timely submission of tax, EOBI, and social security deductions where applicable. Coordinate with the HR and Admin departments regarding payroll, advances, and reimbursements. Keep track of company assets and inventory from a financial perspective.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / BBA / M.Com / MBA preferred). Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounts or finance. -
Skills:
Strong command of MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Peachtree, or ERP). Attention to detail and accuracy. Good analytical and organizational skills. Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
